"I was looking to graduate from the Digidesign 192's for a while until I found the Apogee DA-16X and Rosetta 800 with the X-HD card. I've been using the DA and Rosetta with my ProTools HD system for the last 2 years and have also added the Big Ben and can honestly say that this is the most transparent sounding DAW
system I have worked on. I wouldn't want to be without my Apogee."

"Although I had been using Apogee as my stereo master converter since the mid 90's, it baffled me when I heard the difference using the Rosetta 800 and Big Ben on my DAW. The sonic gain is mesmerizing. More stereo definition, tight and deep low end, smooth and precise hi's, it all changes for the better. Not to mention the ease of setup and the competitive pricing. I see no reason to go anywhere else. Rosetta 800 or AD-16X/DA-16X system with the HD cards are what I use in my mixing room and what I recommend in any job. They represent a real leap from the norm."

"Since switching to Apogee for my 'color strip' LP released on Warp Records in 2006, Apogee has been the center of my dancefloor design work. Whether I am recording with mics, analog synths, reel tape, or the lowest of fidelity signals, Apogee has lifted the veil from stale sound of my previous soundcards to pure pristine imagined SOUND. The Rosetta is my seductress in red, my muse. 'Color Strip' heavily relied on analog/hardware sound so I required the highest quality from recording to mixdown to mastering and I couldnt ask for a more pumping, sweaty, hardhitting, crystaline, and sexy subsonic sound. Literally I fell in love like any audiophile would. My work with major label artists in 2009 are paired up with my Rosetta giving it that punch when i want it to hit, that low freq when i want it smooth as silk and that brittle high end that sizzles in the perfect domain of high end...These days, and for a long time I wondered why digital sound couldn't match the dynamics of my analog/tape/hardware sound quality.. Apogee let me make sound & rhythm motions passionately without cringing at the terrible sound of software at times. The sheer vitality of sound quality from Apogee convertors have brought life back into computer music for me and I'm not one to really endorse any particular products unless Ive fallen in love. Thank you Apogee eternal love.

"I have been using Apogee products for many years, and 2 years ago I decided to purchase the Rosetta 200. Since then all my mixes combined with my Summing Box have given me the warmth on the low end as well as a smooth high end I have been searching for. In addition I added the Big Ben clock to the equation and the stereo field is more open. This is the way my mixes should sound!"
"I have used Apogee products on many gold, platinum, and Grammy nominated projects since the start of the digital revolution. Apogee hands down have always been one step ahead of any competitors as far as better sound, product innovation, and clocking technology. So recently when it came time to buy the right interface for my home setup, I had already known for years what the answer was. Simply put, Apogee Rocks!!!"

"What makes Apogee converters unique is the clarity and stereo image . The depth and headroom of the a/d conversion starts in the analog domain and the high quality of the design and components. This keeps Apogee at the top of the range.
When I produced Bryan Adam's album 'Room Service' at Townhouse studios, using the Apogee Rosetta opened things up noticeably.
Apogee are my converters of choice."
"My Rosetta is one of the most important pieces of gear in my studio. Every single thing I record goes through it, and it always sounds warm, smooth and punchy. Who would've thought that a convertor could have SOUL? This one does!"

"Thanks to everyone at Apogee for the Rosetta 200. You've really never heard the full potential of your mics, mic pre's, etc., until you've heard them through Apogee converters. "My Big Ben and Rosetta 800, connected directly to Pro Tools, made me believe that digital audio can actually be a warm recording environment to work in. Until then, there was always something missing to my ears. The depth and clarity that the Apogee products provide is unparalleled in my mind. Working in Pro Tools has become a beautiful and musically rewarding experience, thanks to Apogee."

"Before recording the score of 'Team America' we compared the HD rig with the Pro Tools interfaces to the Rosetta 800s with Big Ben. The difference was obvious. With the Apogees I noticed a wider depth of field and more openness in the higher frequencies. And a real plus was the fact that the Rosettas are able to mirror their A/D output to both AES and Pro Tools while simultaneously monitoring the return from Pro Tools on an analog console. In a scoring environment where second chances are rare, the ability to run a real-time back-up feed to another system while continuing to monitor the analog feed to the mixing desk is an amazing bonus. Before we started using the Apogee interfaces, this was simply not an option."

"Apogee's DA16X is the perfect tool for producers who are heavy on samples and virtual instruments but would rather submix to an outboard console for that rich sound of analog summing. Combine that with a couple channels of Apogee A/D from a box like the Rosetta 800, and you've boosted your DAW into the big leagues."

"After using the AD-8000 for years, I was disappointed in upgrading to Pro Tools HD to be forced to use their 192 I/Os. I was unhappy with them in a few ways, but now with the Apogee X-HD expansion card, and the Rosetta 800, I have now sold the 192 I/Os and am back in the Apogee fold.
Connecting the Rosetta 800 to Pro Tools is easy and seamless, it even switches itself for the session sample rates, which the AD-8000 did not do. It is not just me that hears the difference - The sound of the converters in both directions are so much better than the 192 I/O, that even my regular clients and musicians, who hear my projects all the time, are startled at the sound! I am getting another!"

"When I found myself mixing more in the box, both out of necessity and sheer practicality, I knew I wanted some kind of edge. Using 16 channels of Apogee Rosetta 800 with an analog summing device is a sublime workflow and sonically it is everything that I had hoped for and then some. The converters are so warm and natural sounding, that I challenge anyone to guess which of my mixes I have done on a large format board and which I have done in my studio, summing the Apogees. With these in my rack and X-HD cards connecting them to Pro Tools, I have a formidable solution for both tracking and mixing."
