Joe Cipriano - Voice Actor

Recent Projects: CBS, FOX, The Simpsons, Two and A Half Men
"Luckily I have MiC with me in the car wherever I go, so if something does come up and I have to pick up a line, all I have to do is pull out MiC from the glovebox, plug it into my iPhone and record it, and then I send it as an email."

The Mamas - Background Vocalists

Recent Projects: Beyoncé
“We've worked with a bunch of different studio mics, some $10,000 mics, and the Apogee MiC is just as good as those. The beauty of it is you can take it on the go, so you aren't just confined to a studio. Wherever we are, when we're out on the road, we can always just pull up the MiC and get to work. ”

Butch Walker - Artist, Songwriter, Producer

Recent Projects: "The Spade", Avril Lavigne, Pink, Train, Gavin DeGraw
“I was in a hotel room in NYC and needed to do a quick demo on my laptop for a pretty big pop artist that I work with.. Immediately after record enabling the track, I heard it picking up the entire room.. it was so sensitive and had such broad dynamic range... It kind of blew me away”

Apogee MiC Reviews

I like MiC

“I’m not a microphone expert by any means, and as with most things musical it’s largely subjective anyway, but I thought MiC did a fantastic job recording my acoustic guitar.”

What else do you need?

“So far I’ve used this to record my classical guitar while I work on various style of African guitar playing. I use Garageband on my iPhone and MiC works great it. (and every other recording app) I’ve also used it to do some simple field recording of my band playing- also works well! The gain dial is simple to adjust. Just crank it up and then slowly dial it back until you stop seeing red. It’s compact but well built and sturdy.”

Great mic on the go

“The audio quality sounds very good. Especially for voice auditions. Very happy with the mic and how easy it is to use.”

Apogee MiC Press Reviews

“The guitar’s sound was faithfully reproduced. I was especially impressed with the third track; it seems like MiC really liked the sweet sound of a softly fingerpicked figure.”

wired-geekdad-logo (1)

“… MiC by Apogee is a diminutive condenser microphone that is dead simple to operate yet captures highly detailed sound. … I was first surprised by the MiC’s heft; its all metal construction immediately strikes you as a well manufactured and high-end product…

Whether you’re writing music, shooting movies or capturing sound, Apogee’s latest offering has so many uses for producing content that it may be your next best accessory.”

“Most mic’s (if not all) that work with iPod/iPad/iPhone only work with those devices, and not as a USB mic that’ll interface with your computer as well, so it’s pretty handy that Apogee’s ‘Mic’ does both, as there are times you’ll want to use Garage Band or some other DAW on your laptop, even though recording apps for the iPhone are starting to have more and more features. The ability to turn your iPhone into a full -blown high-quality field recorder is kind of a game changer, though, and what sets the ‘Mic’ apart at the end of the day is the sound quality.”
