"When my recording rig is powered on my Apogee GiO is always right there. Its the best way for me to have total control over guitar tracking. Its my favorite piece of new gear and I am excited to explore all the possibilities that this creative machine will allow."

"I use the GiO live with MainStage. I program my sounds and different amp combinations for particular songs and use the GiO for switching and for using the stomp box effects from AmpliTube and Guitar Rig. I also use the same setup when I'm in the studio... The GiO fits in like a champ with the rest of my setup. I've had it out with me now for sometime, and it delivers night after night."

"For nearly ten years, Apogee has helped me to realize my musical ideas. I could not imagine my studio today without my AD/DA-16X or Big Ben. Apogee's close cooperation with Apple has allowed me to forget about technical problems and concentrate on my music only. I spend a lot of time away from the studio on the road, and at my concerts and festivals, on stage with my arsenal, I use lots of effects for my bass guitar. Additionally, I use electronic keyboard bass. Recently, I got my hands on a wonderful device - the Apogee GiO. Since this device seems great for guitar, I thought why not use it for bass and keyboards? The quality of preamp and converters are so high that it allowed me to get a quality bass sound directly from the output. Using Apple's MainStage, I can now use my studio favorite hi-end plugins for processing bass guitar on stage and at the same time use a keyboard bass with my favorite virtual synths. Today I would be proud to acquire two more names to go with my GiO -- BiO and KiO."

"Since we are already using MainStage live, the GiO is a great addition. It allows me to switch through my amps and all my pedals through MainStage. Another thing we discovered is that you can assign buttons to create a new track and arm that track. It's the integration that Apogee has with Apple products that makes it so wonderful. You don't have to have separate applications open; everything is integrated and meant to work together, and it does so quite well. Both live and in the studio, the GiO is really a good addition."

"The GiO really helps ideas move forward as it frees up my hands to stay where they belong: on my guitar. The GiO allows you to take full advantage of all of the best new guitar features of Logic. This could have some really great applications in a live setting as well. . ."

"Apogee's new GIO is that rare animal; everything you wanted and more. Imagine a pedalboard that accesses all of the new amps and effects pedals (and brother, there's plenty) found in Apple's steroidal new iteration of Logic and in its suddenly-no-longer-kidding-around little brother, Garage Band. Now add all the transport controls at your...toe-tips. House it in a beautiful wedge of aluminum; one that Frank Gehry might've designed. Add a brilliant line-in that further enhances that "amp" feel...and go."

"Using GIO opened up a whole realm of different possibilities for me to use with GarageBand. Now, instead of finding creative ways to make quick demos, all I do is stomp on my GIO and write away. The tones are great. The combinations are endless. And I have a lot of fun too!"

"I pretty much own every product Apogee makes. I was really excited about GiO because I knew what level of quality to expect from an Apogee product. I was blown away with how cool this interface was once I started to play around with it. It's what recording guitarists have been waiting for. From my AD&DA-16Xs and Big Ben to my new ONE and GiO, I use Apogee on every project I work on. Nothing on the market compares."
