Apogee Wins 16th TEC Award with Symphony 64 PCIe

On Saturday October 10, 2009, Apogee was awarded its 16th TEC Award with Symphony 64 PCIe at the Mix Foundation’s 25th Annual TEC Award Ceremony in New York City.

Apogee won its first TEC Award in 1988 for the 944S and 944G Digital Filters and went on to win for products like the AD-8000, PSX-100, Big Ben, Duet and many others. This year’s win for the Symphony 64 PCIe card in the “Digital Converter Technology” category marks Apogee’s 16th TEC Award and continues to reinforce the company’s presence as a leader in the professional audio community.

“It’s always gratifying to be nominated for a TEC Award and to win is a great honor. Thank you to the Mix Foundation and to everyone involved in the award process. We feel Symphony 64’s SBus technology has raised the bar in high-channel audio distribution between computers, and opened up incredible possibilities for composers and audio engineers. Advances like these offer great value to our customers and further establish Symphony as a platform standard in digital audio,“ says Betty Bennett Co-Founder and CEO of Apogee.
