"I have recorded and produced several albums on Columbia Records (The BET Fatty Koo, 13 episode reality show), Interscope Records (Kaci Brown, #1 Disney) and Warner Bros. Records (The Veronicas, 3x platinum) on my laptop in homes or hotel rooms with many artists. I am thrilled to say that the Apogee Mini-Me is a true life saver in those sessions. I don't know of any other portable audio USB interface with such high-quality compression, limiting, true pro audio pre amps and AD conversion. For my setup I use a Mac Book Pro, a Neuman U87, a Lacie rugged drive, and an Intuos 3 tablet."

The great thing about the MiniDAC is the superb headroom and all the different Digital Inputs. So all sources from Pro Tools, Dats, and CDs, etc., are monitored through the MiniDAC. And if a customer brings his laptop computer to the studio we simply connect the MiniDAC via USB and problem solved. We also use a Rosetta AD a lot."
