"Since switching to Apogee for my 'color strip' LP released on Warp Records in 2006, Apogee has been the center of my dancefloor design work. Whether I am recording with mics, analog synths, reel tape, or the lowest of fidelity signals, Apogee has lifted the veil from stale sound of my previous soundcards to pure pristine imagined SOUND. The Rosetta is my seductress in red, my muse. 'Color Strip' heavily relied on analog/hardware sound so I required the highest quality from recording to mixdown to mastering and I couldnt ask for a more pumping, sweaty, hardhitting, crystaline, and sexy subsonic sound. Literally I fell in love like any audiophile would. My work with major label artists in 2009 are paired up with my Rosetta giving it that punch when i want it to hit, that low freq when i want it smooth as silk and that brittle high end that sizzles in the perfect domain of high end...These days, and for a long time I wondered why digital sound couldn't match the dynamics of my analog/tape/hardware sound quality.. Apogee let me make sound & rhythm motions passionately without cringing at the terrible sound of software at times. The sheer vitality of sound quality from Apogee convertors have brought life back into computer music for me and I'm not one to really endorse any particular products unless Ive fallen in love. Thank you Apogee eternal love.
