"I got the AD-16X converters for use primarily as Pro Tools HD converters, but was pleasantly surprised on their first session to use one as a remote converter, coming into Pro Tools via an ADAT lightpipe extender 100 feet away! To top it off, I used that particular AD-16X as the master sync reference, and the whole system locked to it as if it was sitting in the control room. Amazing stability and versatility. I can put the converters right next to the mic preamps, no matter how far they are away from the G5. Look Ma, no Digi analog converters in this HD rig"
